A Roscón de Reyes is the traditional is a traditional holiday dessert in Spain. It’s a sort of bread made with sweet dough, almonds, and candied fruits, but it can also include other ingredients like marzipan or toasted nuts. The cake is usually served during the roscón de reyes celebration on the day of Epiphany. During this celebration, a figurine or small token is hidden in the cake and whoever finds it will be crowned “king” for the day. Traditionally, the person who finds the token has to pay for the roscón.
